Wendler 5/3/1 Cycle 4 Week 1
Squat: 235 x 5+: 8 reps. PR!
The last time I attempted 235 was Jan 7 and I only got 6 reps so 8 reps is a wonderful thing.
Running
Block repeats (~450m), 1:00 rest.
- 2:26
- 3:15 w/ 40 lb sandbag (partial walk)
- 2:30
- 4:30 w/ 40 lb sandbag (full walk)
My Garmin Forerunner 405 failed after the first lap. Pressing the “Lap” button put it in some weird state where it refused to give any time, distance, etc. data. Not cool! Switched over to just using an old fashioned count up clock.
First time effort with a sandbag. Very cool and a nice added challenge!
