Wendler 5/3/1 Cycle 4 Week 1
Bench: 187.5 x 5+: 6
Not good. Hit 7 and 10 reps in the past. Upper body lifts definitely seem like they are regressing since switching from GSLP to Wendler.
Olympic Lifting
Snatch Drop: 45 x 5
Snatch Balance:
- 65 x 5
- 75 x 3
- 85 x 2
- 95 x 1,1,1,1,1 (1:00 rest between attempts)
These felt great. A lot of the reps where not caught at rock bottom but each rep was finished with a drop to rock bottom. Definitely felt like progress on catching and holding on to the bar. Will have to do more of these in the future!
Assistance Circuit
- BB curls: 65 x 5,5,5,5,5
- DB row: 50 x 5,5,5,5,5
- Pushup: 10,10,10,10,10
- RC situps: 5,5,5,5,5
Running
Went for some light running/walking in the PM. 2.4 miles in 21:35 — 14:28 min/mile average.
