2013-03-27 Fitness Log: Running


Got in a short run today on the treadmill (incline 1):

Speeds (1 min each): 4, 5, 6, 5, 6, 7, 6, 7, 6, 5 mph

Summary: 10 minutes, .95 miles

Short on time due to work. This felt good. I feel like running works better for me when I vary the pace versus just doing a steady pace. Part of this is that it feels less boring but also it seems less taxing for some reason than the equivalent average steady pace.


I realized after some thinking last night that diet cheats are happening a little too much. Looking back at the past week, five out of seven days had a dietary aspect that I’m not happy with. It’s hard becoming the best version of yourself if you are only hitting two out of seven days on your targets. Most of these are relatively light cheats but they are cheats nonetheless. Gotta clean this up.

Dinner was right on though…
