Snatch
Power snatch + overhead squat
- Warmup with bar
- 65 x a few
- 75 x a few
- 85 x 1
- 95 x 1, 1/x (missed ohs)
- 105 1/x, 1
- 115 1/x, 1
- 125 x 1/x, x
Decided to do snatches from the floor but since I still can’t catch in the bottom did them essentially as power snatches followed by an overhead squat. Nothing special to report. For some reason, the bar feels ridiculously heavy when my hands are snatch width compared to clean width.
Clean & Jerk
- 135 x 2
- 150 x 1
- 165 x 1
- 180 x 1 (missed jerk, did not feel good)
- 195 x 1
- 200 x x,x,x
The jerk miss at 180 felt awkward so I decided to skip the jerks after that to avoid injury. The 195 clean felt good so I was surprised I missed the 200.
Generally, just a blah day.
