Snatch
15 min time box
- 45 lbs: misc warmup
- 45 lbs: overhead squats x 5, hang snatches x 4
- 65 lbs: tigger squat x 1, hang power snatch + overhead squat x 1, hang snatch x 4
- 95 lbs: overhead squat x 1, hang power snatch + overhead squat x 1, hang snatch x 3
On the 95 lbs, the hang snatches weren’t quite rock bottom. Maybe at about parallel. The hang snatch reps worked well at each weight. I could feel the improvement with each rep.
Clean & Jerk
15 min time box: 1 hang clean, 1 full clean, 1 jerk
- 135 lbs, 145 lbs, 155 lbs, 165 lbs, 175 lbs (missed jerk)
Need to work jerks more as they are getting way behind cleans and not really progressing at all.
Front Squat
- 185 x 2
- 195 x 2
- 205 x 2
- 215 x 1
- 225 x 1
- 235 x 1
- 245 x 0
Similar sequence as last week except keeping the first few sets down to 2 reps. 245 still wouldn’t go up.
