First day of returning to the GSLP style press. 10 reps was exactly what I was shooting for so that is good. As far as I can tell from my records, this is a rep PR at this weight and beats out what I had at 115 back on GSLP. That’s kinda cool because it implies some progress.

- 255 x 0 : Got stuck halfway up and hung out there for a while trying to push through.
No PR but still some good work. The 255 felt crushingly heavy. I thought to myself while standing there with it in the rack position “geez, how do people ever actually clean this much without crushing themselves?”. Then I realized, I used to think that about 205 and weights even lighter than that. Progress!
Turkish Get-Up
5 minutes – 1 pood/16 kg
- 4 reps right, 4 reps left (alternating)
This was a pilot attempt at adding in the RKC Program Minimum after my main lifts. I thought it went pretty well!
