Fitness Log 2013-06-24: Squat, Kettlebells

Squat (Wendler 5/3/1 Cycle 7 Week 3)

  • Warmup: 120 x 5, 155 x 5, 185 x 3
  • 230 x 5
  • 260 x 3
  • 290 x 4

I would have liked 290 x 5 but .

RKC Program Minimum (Week 2 Monday)

  • 12 min of 20 swings + active rest
  • 16 kg / 1 pood
  • 30 x 4 + 20 x 2 = 160

Grip was again the limiting factor and the main reason for dropping to 20 on the last two sets.  I did a mix of two hand and one hand swings to work around the grip.

Active rest included burpees (haha), bicycle crunches, duck squats, and situps.
