Push Press/Push Jerk

  • 135 x 2 push press, 2 push jerk
  • 155 x 2 push jerk
  • 175 x 1 push jerk
  • 185 x 1 push jerk
  • 195 x X split jerk
  • 190 x 1 push jerk (PR)
  • 195 x XX push jerk

Good session.  190 on the push jerk felt surprisingly light and 195 felt surprisingly heavy.

Turkish Get-Up

5 minutes – 1.5 pood/24 kg

  • 3 reps left, 3 reps right (alternating)

3rd rep was VERY ugly for both hands.  I dropped the bell on both on the last step on the way down with the right being a particularly bad drop.  Going from 16 kg to 24 kg was just too big of a jump.  Next time, going to try with my 40 lbs bell (~18 kg).  Then from there, maybe add a 5 lb ankle weight (~2 kg).
