- 65 x 5
- 75 x 5
- 85 x 5
- 95 x 5 (stumbled forward to save rep)
- 105 x 3
- 115 x 2
- 120 x 2
- 125 x 2
- 130 x 1 PR!

Good day for the overhead squat. I keep telling myself that I probably should display some basic competence with the overhead squat before even bothering with the snatch but it’s much more fun working on the snatch than the overhead squat (that’s what she said!).
The slow progression up was a good idea even though it made the workout drag on for a while. I could feel a nice “groove” on some of the reps that I can’t say that I’ve felt before.
Clean & Jerk
- 135 x power hang clean/push jerk x 1/1 x 2
- 165 x hang clean/push jerk x 1/X
- 185 x hang clean x 1
- 195 x hang clean x 1,X,X
- 195 x clean x 1
- 205 x clean x 1
- 220 x XXX
Upperbody just wasn’t enjoying the jerks after yesterdays press/jerk session and today’s OHS so I dropped them after the first couple of reps. As I pointed out a few weeks ago, I could use more work from the hang position but the full clean is just so gosh darned fun. Still can’t hit that 220.
Front Squat
- 205 x 1
- 220 x 1
- 235 x 1
- 250 x 1
- 255 x 0
I thought 250 was a new PR but I apparently already did it a few weeks ago. However, I missed it last week so it is nice to repeat this week.
