Fitness Log 2013-09-14: Snatch, Clean, Front Squat

Snatch

  • PVC warmup
  • 45 lb bar warmup
  • 65 x misc warmup (snatches/OHS)
  • 95 x 2 OHS, 2 half-snatches w/ OHS
  • 135 x 1 ugly PS
  • 145 x complete mess

The snatches felt great at a low weight so I figured, hey, I should put some actual weight on the bar and then work on these at which point everything was a complete disaster.

Clean

  • 135 lbs x 1
  • 165 x 1
  • 185 x 1
  • 195 x 1
  • 205 x XXX
  • 225 x X

Just no focus.

Front Squat

  • 205 x 2
  • 215 x 2
  • 225 x 1
  • 235 x 1
  • 235 x 1
  • 245 x 1
  • 255 x 1
  • 265 x X

These felt fine on the progression up but then 265 didn’t go anywhere.  Just not my day.
