Spectacular rep PR at 130 for the press. Any sign of progress with the press is great and this was just beyond expectations. The last time I did 130, I only got 6 reps. That was down from a number of prior sessions with 130 where I managed to get 7 reps. So hitting 10 today destroyed both of these and shows my press is now moving in the right direction with fury.
I initially planned to cut the 130 to 3×5 and then go for some heavy singles but I felt inspired on the last set and went all out to 10. That left me a bit fatigued for the singles but I still got some quality reps in despite missing out on matching my former PR of 160.
Front Squat

Did these a day early. I’m pretty sure the 215 is a 5 RM PR. Didn’t get anywhere close to a new 1 RM but my legs were pretty tired at this point.
One Arm DB Incline Bench
- 50 lb DB (R/L): 10/10, 10/10, 10/10
- 1 min rest between sets
Close Grip Bench
- Warmup: 45 x 5, 75 x 5, 95 x 5
- 120 x 10, 10, 10
- 1 min rest between sets
BB Curls
- 45 x 14
Just a quick set to end the day.
