The PRs were dropping like flies this week. Not bad hitting PRs in deadlift, squat, bench, and press all in a 6-day span.
I really did not expect this one. I didn’t go in feeling particularly motivated and the sets of 5 all felt heavy. The 167.5 didn’t go up easy but it went up. I had to shuffle my feet a bit mid-rep to keep under the bar — not the most elegant demonstration of form but I am confident the rep itself was strictly pressed.
