I want to run in a local 5k that’s coming up December 14 so I figure I should probably start doing some training sessions. I can usually go out and run 5k cold without a problem but not with very good times so some practice would be good.
For some reason, treadmill running is always harder for me than outdoors. I don’t know if it is the surface, the inability to instantaneously vary pace, or my treadmill speed/distance is simply not correct. In any case, this was an okay first run after not running at all for a few months.
