Fitness Log 2013-11-29: Bench, etc.

Bench

  • 45 lbs x 5, 115 x 5, 135 x 5, 155 x 3, 175 x 3, 195 x 1
  • Rest Pause: 215 x 7+3+1 = 11
  • 7RM PR, rep PR at 215, rest pause rep PR at 215

This was a repeat of last week.  Last week was my first foray into rest pause and didn’t go so great so I wanted to repeat it.  The result is 11 reps compared to last week’s 9 so good deal.

Circuit

  • 5 rounds of:
    • 5 x close grip bench @ 135 lbs
    • 2-3 x rope climb pulls (~5 pulls per hand)
    • 5 x goblet squat @ 24 kg

Intervals

  • Tabata bike
  • :20/:10r x 8
  • Total time: 5.01
  • 156 W, 1.2 dist, 40 cal
